Monroe County NOW's Racial Justice Committee is hosting its first book club Sunday, July 23, at 4pm. The location is TBD. The topic for book club is mass incarceration. The group will be discussing The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander and A Colony in a Nation by Chris Hayes. Both books are available at the Monroe County Public Library. The book club will also be watching portions of Ava DuVernay's documentary 13th.
