Monroe County NOW is participating in Bloomington's Fourth of July parade on Tuesday, July 4, at 10:00AM. We want you to be a part of the fun and come dressed ready to "Be Your Own She-ro!" Whether you want to come as you are, wear a Shero-themed t-shirt, or your Dissent Jabot, come ready to represent strong females - historical or fictional, past or present. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ATTENDEES
Please plan to arrive no later than 9:30 AM at the staging area. We will meet at the ORANGE LOT for the parade, located at 6th Street and Dunn. You may find a location map here, including parking information. All attendees must sign this waiver and bring it day of the parade. Other FAQs can be found here.
Need-to-knows:
- This is a rain or shine event. Be prepared, Sheroes! Parade will only be canceled under threat of lightning.
- In case of sun - wear Sunscreen!
- Bring your own water. - Stay hydrated!
- Please bring your own bag to carry candy.
- Children under 6 must walk with an adult.
